A postdoctoral research fellow is required to join the Faulkner group at The Roslin Institute. The project will involve characterisation of retrotransposition in the somatic cells of the human body, including assays of retrotransposition rate in embryonic stem cells, neural precursor cells and
hepatocarcinomas. You will possess a PhD in Molecular Biology or closely related discipline and be prepared to pursue a research project with a large degree of autonomy and responsibility. You will also have advanced laboratory skills gained through extensive laboratory experience.
