Kelly Scientific is seeking a Post-Doc Bioengineering Scientist - Rare Cell Isolation System Kelly Scientific is seeking a fresh post doc for a cellular diagnostic company located in the Texas Medical Center. The preferred candidate will have a unique industry post-doctoral opportunity to utilize their scientific and engineering skills in the environment of an innovative life science company. This person will have the responsibility of supporting the development of an innovative rare cell isolation system involving micofluidic flow and dielectrophoresis. The right candidate will report to the VP of Product Development and work closely with senior research scientist, engineers, and technical directors to assist with experimental designs, project execution and generate formal reports. Computational fluid dynamic CFD analysis will be used to support refinement of fluid path design. Position will be a hands on role with extensive time in the laboratory designing and conducting experiments to evaluate new micofluidic, electronic and optically based designs utilizing surrogate and biological materials. This person will contribute to scientific abstracts and publications.
