Eligibility:
-For the scholarships, CBS will give priority to applicants who demonstrate competencies within empirical as well as theoretical studies.
-The Department will give priority to applicants with high grades from their universities.
-The three-year PhD programme at CBS allows you to conduct research under the supervision of CBS professors, supported by research training courses.
- The programme is highly international, and you are expected to participate in international research conferences and to spend time abroad as a visiting PhD student.

Scholarship Description: Copenhagen Business School invites applications for two vacant PhD scholarships within the field of Danish/European-Chinese social science research. The PhD must conduct research which is embedded in already existing research projects at CBS related to the Sino-Danish University Center-initiative (see website http://www.sinodanishcenter.dk/). The scholarships will be available from 1 August 2011. The PhD scholarship can be situated at any department or center at CBS which has research on Danish-Chinese issues related to SDC and the department/centre must have supervision competences within the field. Core research areas are (1) welfare, social innovation, public management and social development and (2) innovation management. More specifically, the research projects must be placed within the following research areas:
