Emerging Markets – Regional Scholarships at Thunderbird School of Global Management, A limited number of partial-tuition scholarships are available to students in the Executive MBA Europe program for the cohort beginning October 2011. For students from qualifying countries, these awards are designed to offset partial costs of attendance to the Thunderbird Executive MBA Europe program. Awards will be applied directly towards the tuition expenses of the Executive MBA program in Geneva. Students must complete a separate form and essay for consideration. If awarded, the scholarship will be applied as a credit to the student.s tuition account (cash payments will not be made directly to the student). The amount of the scholarships will vary based on individual financial need, but awards will cover 20% – 25% of the program tuition.
Eligibility:
- Have completed the Thunderbird Executive MBA admissions process and been accepted into the program for the Fall 2011 cohort.
-Be based in and a citizen of an “emerging market” country.
-The following regions are currently considered to fall within this category for the purpose of scholarship consideration: -Countries in Central & Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, excluding Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.
