For 2011/12, nine studentships are available with joint funding from Kingston University.  Kingston University is a thriving centre for research in the arts and humanities has been successful in securing an AHRC Block Grant (Capacity Building) for 14 studentships across the next three years. The Faculties of Art, Design and Architecture and Arts and Social Sciences offer a vibrant and supportive research environment for students with a wide range of research interests. The awards are designed to foster innovation and interdisciplinary research projects are welcomed.

Available studentships

For 2011/12, applications are invited for studentships in the following areas:

PhD

  • There are four awards available in design (including digital media, fashion, product, environment and architecture) and fine art practice.

Eligibility

Awards are fully funded at Home/EU level and are available for both full-time and part-time students.

Closing date and interviews

The closing date for receipt of fully completed applications is 12.00noon on Monday 20 June 2011.
Interviews will be held between 1 and 15 July 2011.
