Scholarship Description:We invite applications for an EPSRC funded postdoctoral research position to work on the project “Stability conditions and hypermultiplet space” with Tom Bridgeland, Professor of Pure Mathematics at the Mathematical Institute. The successful candidate will take up the post before the start of the 2011/12 academic year. This is a 30 month fixed term position with the possibility of a 6 month extension
depending on funding.The Postdoctoral Researcher will be expected to conduct research on the above project, both independently and in collaboration with Professor Bridgeland. Applicants should have a PhD degree awarded, or a Masters degree and PhD submitted, at the time of taking up the position, in a field of mathematics relevant to the aims of the project, display clear evidence of outstanding promise and originality in research and have a good publication record (judged by the stage of his/her career).
