Area Strategic Investment Honours Scholarship at Griffith University. Up to four Honours Scholarships are being offered annually as part of the Strategic Investment in Criminology. The Area Strategic Investment Honours Scholarship is available to highly motivated students who have recently completed their undergraduate degree in Criminology, Psychology or Sociology and have an interest in pursuing a research career in Criminology. Students will need to be enrolled in or eligible for admission into either of the following Honours programs for 2012: ? Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice with Honours ? Masters of Criminology and Criminal Justice with Honours Students will be expected to meet the enrolment requirements for Honours in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and have identified a principal supervisor from within the School. Each Scholarship is valued at $6000, cash payment to be made in two instalments of $3000 per semester.

Eligibility Area Strategic Investment Honours Scholarship at Griffith University:
-have recently completed an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
- be enrolled in or eligible for admission into either: o a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice with Honours, or o a Masters of Criminology and Criminal Justice with Honours in 2011
- be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status
- submit in writing an outline of their Honours project, maximum 250 words. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of Grade Point Average (GPA)
