PhD position with Scholarship, Cinvestav is supported by the Mexican government, therefore no type of fees are charged to the students. Scholarships are provided by the National Council for Science and Technology of Mexico (Conacyt). In general, Scholarships are offered in January and July of every year.
In order to obtain a scholarship, students should submit applications online. It is adviced to get in contact with the International Office well in advance.
To apply for a PhD position with Scholarship, students must fulfill the following requirements:
1. Admission letter from Cinvestav.
2. Under graduate and postgraduate marksheets indicating the subjects and corresponding scores.
3. Minimum GPA in previous studies should be 8.0 or equivalent.
4. Bachellors degree certificate* or equivalent for Masters or Direct Doctorate.
5. Masters degree certificate* or equivalent for Doctorate.
6. Scanned copy of your passport.
