Scholarship definition
Scholarship is grant of financial aid awarded to a non Saudi student, for the purpose of attending a graduate program at King Abdulaziz University. This scholarship will be awarded only for student residing outside of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Students are going to be awarded a research assistant in the department in which he will be admitted in.
Scholarship advantage :
Student will be granted the following :
- Monthly allowance of (2900 SR = 6,6Million IDR ) for master student and (3400 SR = 7,8 Million IDR) for PhD student
- Furnishing allowance 1800 SR (4,1 Million IDR) at student arrival.
- Health care for the student and his family, in case the accompanied the,.
- Discounted meals at the university restaurant
- Thesis and dissertation printing and binding allowance of 3000 SR (6,9 Million IDR) for master student and 4000 SR (9,2 Million IDR) for PhD student, which will be paid after completion of the degree requirement
- Graduation allowance of 2700 (6,2 Million IDR) SR which will be paid after the completion of the degree requirement
- Yearly round trip ticket for the student and his family if the accompanied him.
Duties and tasks of scholarship student :
In addition to student’s academic duties as he will have to participate in a technical duties in his department on the condition that those duties will not affect his academic work
