TRENZA encourages Latino(a) students who meet ONE of the following criteria's to apply:
- A UCB graduating senior enrolling into a master’s program in Education or Teaching Credential program at any university OR
- A student currently enrolled at UCB Graduate School of Education OR
- A Cal Alum currently enrolled in a master’s program in Education
Scholarship Amount: $750
Application deadline: August 5, 2011
To be considered for the scholarship, please submit a personal statement (up to 1,500 words in length, 12-point font and double spaced) describing your commitment to pedagogy and service to disadvantaged communities. The recipient will be announced by August 15, 2011 and will receive his/her award with proof of enrollment in a graduate education program.
